For beginners

How to join

02

Read the rules

Safety and ride format — a 5-minute read. This is important even if you are not a beginner.

03

Beginners start with an intro session

If you're completely new to the bike, we start with one one-on-one session before the group — 20,000 ₸. After it, joining the beginner group at the velodrome is much easier.

04

What we teach at the velodrome

Beginner classes are the foundation — without them it's too early to go out on the road:

  • bike handling and group riding technique
  • coordination and how to behave in traffic
  • cornering and avoiding obstacles
  • gear shifting, braking, accelerating, riding out of the saddle

Those who progress faster move up to the next group — and that's where the road begins: the open roads of Almaty and the region.

05

Arrive at the appointed time

Road bike, helmet, enough water. Your first ride is in the slowest group.

  • helmet, glasses and gloves
  • water, snack and spare tube
  • working brakes and charged lights
